The 2013 Wells Fargo Championship is in the books and there were some different stories this year than in previous events.

One half of the Wells Fargo Championship is in the books and Phil Mickelson is atop of the leaderboard. During a week that the condition of the greens have generated a lot of conversation, having a player like Mickelson leading will take some of the heat off of the Wells Fargo Championship. The greens are what they are and everyone is having to play the same greens, so it is nice to see most of the guys going out and just playing now. Mickelson said after his round on Friday that Quail Hollow from tee to green is one of the best golf courses he has ever seen, which is a testament to this course. When asked why he is putting so well this week, Phil says that the slower greens have allowed for him to be more aggressive and not play as much break as they typically have to each week. He has also benefited from leaving most of his approach shots below the hole giving himself uphill putts. When Phil is striking the ball like he is this week and PUTTING well, he can win any week on TOUR.

No Tiger, no problem for the Wells Fargo Championship
Only one NBA series can hold my attention
NFL Draft is Thursday night and I am guessing we will hear some terms repeatedly.
The gray area in NASCAR seems to be getting smaller and smaller.....

2013 MASTERS Recap

WOW, is all that can be said about the 2013 MASTERS. Penalties for illegal drops and slow play both were exercised on Friday. Adam Scott's playoff win was great, but there are so many more things that occured this weekend at Augusta National.

Fair or Foul on CBS coverage of Kevin Ware's injury

Social Media was buzzing about CBS showing replays of Kevin Ware’s injury. Here is what I think about this no win situation for CBS. Also, this weekend’s games didn’t deliver and Romo’s new deal with the Cowboys. And how about that awesome start to the MLB season…I forgot also.
